The following are NPLD events that are focused on improving the waterways of Tennessee and the Tennessee River:
Cherokee Lake Users Association (Grainger, Hamblen, Jefferson and Hawkins)
Fall Cleanup Date: Saturday, September 29 (10:30 am - 1:00 pm) Launch sites:
Jefferson County - Black Oak
Grainger County - German Creek and Gilmore
Hamblen County - Cedar Hill Boat Dock
Hawkins County - Chelaque Estates & Legacy Bay
Hiwasee Scenic River - Sept. 29 (1 pm - 9 pm). Hiwasee/Ocee Scenic Rivers State Park. Bring the whole family and join us in celebrating the anniversary of the beautiful trail and a float on the river at the same time.
Little Cedar Mountain, Family Hike at Nickajack Lake - Sept 29 (9am - midnight) Little Cedar Mountain Small Wild Area near Shellmound Campground. Contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
Normandy Reservoir Cleanup - Sept. 22 (9am - 11 am) - Meet at Barton Springs
Boat Ramp in Normandy, TN. All volunteers receive a free t-shirt.
Norris Lake Project (Anderson, Campbell, Claiborne, Union and Grainger
Lone Mountain - Sept. 22 (9am - 1 pm) - Launch at Lone Mountain HOA Dock. Working area east from Norris Landing Marina
Big Ridge - Sept. 29 (8:30 am - 3 pm) - 1st Annual Scouting Event - Paddling and educational day. Working islands and shorelines from boat launch to Loyston Sea (Cas Island)
Waterside Ramp - Sept. 29 (9 am - 1 pm) Loyston Point for the barge. Working shorelines between Waterside and Camp Tansai.
Campbell - Oct. 6 (9 am - 1 pm) Launch site - Twin Cove Marina. Work Area: Twin Cove towards Oak Grove Boat Launch
Tennessee River Rescue - Oct. 6 (9 am - 1 pm) 17 different departure sites.

Watts Bar Lake Cleanup - Sept. 28 (9 am - noon). Join TVA and Watts Bar Lake Association For an island-oriented cleanup effort.
