Nickajack Lake Cleanup with TDOT Region 2

REQUIRED TO BRING: BOTTLED WATER, CLOSED-TOE SHOES (wader or rain boots recommended), PANTS
RECOMMENDED TO WEAR: SUNBLOCK & BUG SPRAY
Prohibited: Smoking or vaping on the boats; waterproof waders that go from boot to shoulder strap

We’re proud to once again host a river cleanup with Region 2 TDOT team members along Nickajack Lake of the Tennessee River. We’ll ride in our 26-foot work boats to clean shorelines and coves in the area.

We will provide life vests, work gloves, and cleanup supplies. It’s best to wear rain or wader boots (no waist-high waders, please!). If you don’t have water proof shoes, we do have a limited supply of knee-high boots in men’s sizes 8-15 that you can borrow.

This team has always made a huge impact at these cleanups and we can’t wait to see you on the water!!!
