TVA/TDOT Earth Day Cleanup

We’re very excited to partner with the very supportive Highway Beautification Office on a cleanup for Earth Day Awareness Week presented by Nobody Trashes Tennessee!

We will take Region 2 TDOT team members in our 26-foot work boats to clean shorelines and coves along Chickamauga Lake of the Tennessee River. Additionally, team members from the Tennessee Valley Authority will join in this cleanup, as well, making it one big cleanup effort by our area’s public servants!

We will provide life vests, work gloves, and cleanup supplies. It’s best to wear rain or wader boots (no waist-high waders due to safety issues, please!). If you don’t have water proof shoes, we do have a small supply of knee-high boots in men’s sizes 8-15 that you can borrow.

We are SO grateful to TDOT and TVA teams for your funding support of our nonprofit, and can’t wait to see your teams on the water!!! Get ready to make a big difference!
