Adopt a River Mile/Storm Drain Category

Participants in Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful’s Adopt a River Mile or Adopt a Storm Drain programs may be nominated for this award category. The river miles and storm drains are maintained in different ways by different adoptees, from massive cleanups on the shores, to quality, individual work, to “fishing” litter out of the water by boat, to whitewater rafting cleanups.

This Adopt a River Mile/Storm Drain award category aims to recognize a standout Adopt a River Mile participant who has completed work in the last year (July 1, 2020-June 30, 2021).
