Beacon Award Category

Over the years, leaders have stepped up to advocate for the Tennessee River. Whether it be a very prominent role or an influential part carried out from behind the scenes, the Beacon Award seeks to recognize a person whose long-term efforts have made a significant, positive and lasting impact for the Tennessee River.

The Beacon Award aims to recognize a person who has completed work along the Tennessee River and its tributaries over a period of at least five years.
