This fundraising effort will help to push Keep the Tennessee River Beautiful past its milestone of 1 million pounds of trash removed since putting our first boat in the water in 2019. Here are some ways that the fundraising dollars will help this programming:

1. Fueling boats and trucks that haul them to cleanups

2. Cleanup supplies for volunteers

3. Any additional trash disposal fees that we can’t get donated

4. Any recycle fees for tires removed from the river

5. Staff time to coordinate the event, drive boats to the event, drive boats at the cleanup, haul the trash from shorelines to the boat ramp, unload it into the dumpster, and haul the boats back to headquarters

6. Insurance coverage of fleet and cleanup event liability

7. Replacement of needed equipment that may break due to heavy duty work such as shovels, clippers, and saws
